We will actively seek new and diverse voices to guide our work, and embrace a culture of continuous improvement across all programs.
We will work to fulfill our vision and mission with an eye to the best, most effective ways to engage people and use resources. By balancing our goals with a strong focus on volunteer and employee wellness and morale, we will ensure continued creativity, resilience and improvement across all our programming. Throughout, we will work diligently and inclusively to ensure our key areas of activity continue to support high-quality care and meet our members’ needs, both in Canada and in our international endeavours.
How we will deliver on this strategic priority:
- Seek input from patients, Fellows, residents, staff and partners to guide the development and implementation of an equity, diversity and inclusion strategy that will transform the fundamentals of how we create, develop and implement policies, programs and services.
- Seek input from Fellows, residents and staff to create a bilingualism strategy that will better serve the needs of our members.
- Assess, develop and implement an integrated technology strategy with the goal of enabling the best possible digital and online engagement experience for our Fellows, residents, volunteers and stakeholders.
- Improve staff wellness, retention and morale by first assessing their needs and developing an updated health and wellness strategy.
